    No Greater Joy

    “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
    3 John 3-4

    O Lord, help us to walk in Your truth today. May we be people who know your word and live it out.

    Help us to show the world your love through our kindness, mercy, grace, and service to others.

    Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD

    “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” Psalm 33:12

    O Lord, bring revival and awakening to our land. We are a sinful people who desperately need your salvation. Revive your church O Lord. Cause us to be broken over our sin and have mercy on our souls. We desperately need you. Please hear our cry for salvation.

    Hope in the Lord

    “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
    on those who hope in his steadfast love,
    that he may deliver their soul from death
    and keep them alive in famine.
    Our soul waits for the Lord;
    he is our help and our shield.
    For our heart is glad in him,
    because we trust in his holy name.
    Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
    even as we hope in you.” Psalm 33:18-22

    God sees all the events of our days and is not surprised or frustrated by any of it. Cry out to the Lord and wait for Him. May your heart be glad in him and rejoice in His name. Hope in the Lord. He is our refuge and strength when the world falls down around us.

    Trust in the Lord

    “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalm 20:7

    The events of our days reveal what we put our trust in. As the foundational pillars of our society and our lives are shaken, we see that many have put their trust in these worldly things.

    Let us find peace and joy through trusting only in the Lord our God. He is our rock, refuge, and our redeemer.

    I Repent

    “Then Job replied to the Lord:
    “I know that you can do all things;
    no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
    You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’
    Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
    things too wonderful for me to know.
    “You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak;
    I will question you,
    and you shall answer me.’
    My ears had heard of you
    but now my eyes have seen you.
    Therefore I despise myself
    and repent in dust and ashes.” Job 42:1-6 NIV

    We are sinful people who dwell in a land of sinful people. Let us each have the humility of Job. Let’s understand that God is holy and in control. Let us trust in Him and in humility seek His grace and favor to heal our souls and heal our land.

    Which Path Are You Walking?

    “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” Matthew 7:13-14

    The way of faith is the narrow way. It is filled with struggle, suffering, and persecution for the sake of the name of Jesus, but it leads to life.

    Which way are you on?

    The Blessed Man

    “Blessed is the man
    who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
    nor stands in the way of sinners,
    nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
    but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and on his law he meditates day and night.” Psalm 1

    What do you delight in? Is your delight and joy in the Lord?

    He is the only one who can truly satisfy your thirsty soul.

    God Saves Those Who Trust Him

    “I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” Psalm 18:1-3

    Love the Lord and trust in Him today. Call out to Him and praise His name. He will carry you through all your troubles and give you His peace and comfort.

    I Will Sing of the Love of the Lord

    “I will sing of the steadfast love of the Lord, forever;
    with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.”
    Psalm 89:1 ESV

    Who are you telling of the love of Christ?
